Join us for the 11th year of Perth’s premier multicultural event – the Swan Festival of Lights 2018!
Since 2008, SFOL has been illuminating the City of Perth with its offering of colourful dances, soul-stirring rhythms and mouth-watering flavours, all in the name of Celebrating Deepavali Together.
A cultural festival celebrated by Indians all over the world, Deepavali spiritually signifies the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, knowledge over ignorance and of course, good over evil.
Keeping in line with our vision of Celebrating Deepavali Together, SFOL honours Perth’s diverse community by bringing an exquisite array of cultures to the Supreme Court Gardens – festival-goers will delight in the rich variety of folk, tribal, village, contemporary and energetic performances from a multitude of countries.
Vegetarian Food & Drink | Dance & Music Performances | Workshops & Activities | Arts & Crafts | Camel Rides | Nightly Fireworks!!!
SFOL is hosted by Saraswati Mahavidhyalaya (SMV) and Annalakshmi Cultural Centre of WA – both non-profit institutions manned by volunteers guided by the principles of “Love, Give and Serve; and Art for Art‟s sake”.
STAY TUNED: Line-up COMING SOON.
